Brandy Melville shirt and Vintage floral high waisted Shorts

Before heading out from the North Shore to do some work, I had a little fun today celebrating “ Happy Day After Valentine’s Day “, expressing myself  in all types of florals and a vintage, Polaroid theme! I found these hipster, high waisted, floral shorts at the thrift store so you can not have these exact ones, however ESTAY as a massive collection of High Waisted Shorts that are just as good, or better. My green top with its delicate front tie is Brandy Melville, had to have at least one item of clothing on that’s Brandy, you can dress it up or down thats why I am in love with this top. Paired it with some bohemian N.Y.L.A sandals and then topped its off with my “flower power”, white headband from Dream-girls! And, yes I took all these pictures myself, like always.

If you are a big B.M fan like me then the Brandyblog is one you have to bookmark… if you have not already. FAVVY

Here Im wearing my B.M Black Skirt thats sexy short in the front and casual friday in the back. :) That Audrey Hupbern shirt AND those Calvin Klein, pointed flats are both thrift store scores! However, pointed flats are classics so C.K always has a pair on stalk !

Valentines Day is tomorrow and I thought I would get things started a little early <3

Here is one of the greatest handwritten love letters of all time… “May the force be with you” all tomorrow!

TRANSLATION

Dear Jessica,

You’ve asked me to stop writing these letters. You’ve told me they will never change things between us. But I can’t, Jessica. I can’t just… let you go. Even Darth Vader, an evil Sith lord, couldn’t leave his son to die at the end of “Return of the Jedi”.

You make me feel so safe, Jessica. So warm. I want to crawl up inside you. Like Luke Skywalker crawled up inside his tauntaun to protect himself from the sub-zero temperatures of Hoth, where the Rebel Alliance was hiding from the Galactic Empire.

For you, Jessica, I would dive into the Sarlacc Pit of Tatooine (Luke’s home planet) and be slowly digested for a thousand years, like the bounty hunter Bobba Fett. (Even though in the Expanded Universe of the “Star Wars” novels, Fett eventually escapes, which creator George Lucas has accepted as official S-Dub cannon. But my simile still stands.)

Please, Jessica, give you and me a try – or as wise Jedi once said, “Try not…Do, or do not. There is no try.” Come on, Jessica. Let’s “do” it. Let’s French.

Then again, maybe you’re right. Maybe we’re from different galaxies, far far away from one another. Maybe you’re “not the droid” I’m looking for, and I should give up and “move along”…with my heart.

May the Force be with You,

Patrick (3rd row, History)

stand u paddle boarding up the river on the north shore

Thats me paddling up the river on a C4 paddle board, you can’t see it very well but I am wearing my “I love surfers” Roxy shirt :)

This weekend I did a stand-up paddle “C4” boarding session up the river here on the North Shore of Oahu. In order to get to this particular stream, you have to paddle across a massive bay, with some good size waves, to get to the entrance of the river. There is pretty gnarly bridge that separates the bay from river and if you don’t time yourself right, you could run into the cement pillars in the water. However, its was such a beautiful paddle that it is totally worth it in the end. Once you are in the calm waterway, you just feel at one with nature… you can see all the fish swimming around the roots of the plants that grow on the edges on the river and you never lose sight of the mountain range ahead of you. About half way up, here is ever a rope swing and docks to the houses. If you ever wander to the North Shore of Oahu, rent a paddle board and take a trip up the river. Its cheap and totally family friendly!

Zimmermann Striped dress with thrifted cowgirl boots and dreamgirl beltZimmermann Striped dress with thrifted cowgirl boots and dreamgirl belt halogen sweaterZimmermann Striped dress with thrifted cowgirl boots and dreamgirl belt halogen sweater

ZIMMERMENN black and white striped dress, THRIFTED black cowgirl boots, DREAMGIRL belt,  HALOGEN trippy sweater, DIANA VON FUSTINBURG sunglasses

In the morning after I get my usual latte from the Coffee Gallery in Haleiwa, sometimes I like  to wander down the northern coast and do a little surf check, at what feels like the ends of the earth. This particular morning I ended up stumbling upon a cliff covered in huge boulders that over looked the shore break. I was able to balance my camera on some of the massive rocks and run to the edge in time to take a few photos with the timer on. I think I’m getting a lot better at being my own photographer. After climbing all over the rocks in my thrift-ed cowgirl boots, my secret spot started to get a little crowded with people investigating the mysterious area just like me… so I did a quick run away before anyone could ask me what I was doing! I like being mysterious myself ;)
