Where many cultures from around the world swarm swiftly with each other, braiding together multiple fashion trends, women know it all too well… The Mall. Hawaii creates a vast array of cultures that come and go throughout these island. When families come here to vacation they also make a beeline to the mall! I love taking photos of what people wear while they wander to Hawaii. Its so beautiful to see how people dress around the world … its also very inspiring for my own wardrobe. One of my favorite hobbies is to analyze the windows displays… I consider myself a professional window shopper.
Chanel’s window told a story. Remember when you were a freshman girl in high school. You can casually point out the popular senior girls. They looked like they ruled the world. Confidence, spilled with every each word spoke. Dressed to impress and make an impact, that is what Coco Chanel’s window said to me. Powerful, independent women, that you literally look up too. Strong posses, mesmerizing jewelry, and dressed in classic silhouettes that scream,” You want to be me!”
Mac’s Make Up window, was filled with sweet spring pastel colors with a sour attitude. I felt like I was sucking to a sweet & sour lollipop while soaking in this visually yummy window display. These Barbie like models with their long legs and platform heels pushed around hot pink shopping carts bluntly stating one word, SHOP! It was simple and straight to the point. Nothing about it is a trap, you know what they want and you want to look like them, however I don’t know about the hair explosion. Thank god MAC does not sell hair products.
Gucci’s window, gave me the impression of a fancy bank vault. What is put inside a bank vault? Lots and lots of money and that is exactly what it would cost to invest in these timeless classic designs … big bucks. So it seems ironic and simple, just tell you in a ” matter of fact” way, that only the rich that have a lot in their bank vault…can afford Gucci.
Louis Vuitton’s window display was so yummy to look at. The massive cupcake looked so good, wrapped in gold, with fluffy white whip cream, and a louis Vuitton bag on top. I just had to have one. This one was my favorite display because it was simply perfection. Who doesn’t like cupcakes?!

comment →Thrift Perrfection is a understatement for this amazing Petite Leopard Blouse I wandered upon at the thrift store! I just love the fabric and because I am petite myself, the blouse fits my shoulders perfectly. Also, the arm length is just right. My red jeans go great with the blouse. I cant get enough of the zipper details on these bad boys. I feel that every girl should own a pair of red jeans because the just scream ” Confidence”, and who doesn’t need that? My black business heels are Style & Co and my blazer is Harold’s. My outfit is fun and perrfessional… at the same time. All are thrift store finds, Holla!
