Finding Affordable Jewelry that looks expensive can be tricky. Recently, I have been on the hunting for classy chokers that can make a statement without damaging my wallet in the process. Finally.. came across a assortment of necklaces at Forever 21. These reasonably priced pieces cost around 14.00 all together. I recommend Forever21 for any fast trends because trends fall out of style quickly so spending a lot of money on something your going to be over in a few weeks is not worth spending your paycheck on. Instead, stick to cheap when it comes to “whats hot now” and save you money for classic pieces that will last forever.

Sometimes one print pattern just isn’t enough! This Pink and Orange polka dot dress is one of my newest obsessions. The cut off sides really create new way to be sexy without showing to much skin. This summer is all about unique ways to layer or create illusions. I Wandered into Urban Outfitters sale rack for this little sexy number and I just cant get enough of it!! Soon I will have awkward tan lines but it will be worth it. It buttons up the back and  is so comfortable. With the tight fit you can show off your curves. This is a dress to impress so if your looking for a classic cut piece with a little ” Zooey Deschanel” style you have to invest!

The Floral Jacket was a thrift store score. I just adore it! With only two original buttons and the fringe lining the collar, this one of a kind jacket makes such a statement. You want to know something funny, this jacket is actually a vintage night gown cover-up! I found it in the sleep wear section. Ha ha. Again, its another “Zooey Deschanel” inspired piece. I love vintage and

MOVING to San Diego as been such an exciting adventure already. I love it here and cannot get enough of the Thrifts Stores. I have been so busy lately trying to get back into the groove in my new studio, that is why I have not posted anything lately! Soooo, let me update you on what I have been up too.

I started sketching again! Yay. I have many ideas for bathing suits for athletic water women. My goal is to create comfortable athletic swimwear for women. Two pet peeves of mine… worrying about their boobs falling out while preforming water sports or picking wedgies while surfing. So I have a few EPIC ideas up my sleeve. Next step … sewing.

I am going to start school in the fall, I am so excited to commit to fashion design, Hawaii really helped me discover myself and what I want to do with the rest of my life. I am going to make my dreams a reality. I truly believe you can do anything, you just have to be motivated in your mind and heart. Do what you love and success with follow, I promise.

One hobby I love is Thrift Store Shopping! Yesterday, my lovely mother and I strolled to the local Salvation Army for a few hours. One tip I can give to someone trying to become a professional thrift store shopper, “DO NOT GET OVERWHELMED!” Walking into a T.Store can be terrifying. You have to take a breath and commit a great deal of time. Its like playing hid and seek or finding that needle in the haystack. Go through one piece of clothing at a time. It is always a hit or miss for me. I can go hours without finding a single thing, however once you find something exquisite, its one of the best feelings there is! I scored and Vintage Floral Jacket and Black Vintage Backless Dress that reminds me of famous outfit Audrey Hepburn wears in Breakfast at Tiffany’s! Its worth the time, I promise! Just go one rack at a time…
