Enjoying my friday by doing my two favorite things that start with S… Sketching and Styling.
Pixie Market asked on Facebook to style a black studded sweater, I decided to go a little out there and sketch the outfit I would put together. Im obsessed with their Silky purple gathered pants. I really think the purple would look with the gold in the sweater. Also, to give the girl a little more hip… why not pair it with the Cameo sculpted bustier top!

Outfit Items
Bronze Pleather Mini Skirt
Fringe Paperbag Clutch
The Grim Slipper
This week I entered Pixiemarkets styling give way contest and WON! In order to enter I had to style their Eagle Sweater that is not yet available with items on their online store. I decided to stick with black and bronze colors to go with the royal blue in the sweater. I won against 267 other entries! So stocked. I fell what made me stand out was the collage I made of all the items together. No one else really did that.
This morning as I was refreshing my Instagram, I noticed this really awesome outfit on a blond girl holding a sign that said “Mariah Oelke”, it took me a second to realize…
“Hey thats me!!!!” … now I get my outfit featured on the Pixiemarket online store monday and the whole outfit sent to my door step!
… I post a photo of me in the clothes when they come…whoop whoop!
Photos from Pixie Market site!

Had to create a look-book for my Photo Styling class! I ended up taking unedited photos from a previous photo shoot. I ran into a lot of problems because I dont know how to do any graphic design. Luck for me, I understand how to use powerpoint! haha.
I wanted a vague, awkward and unique look-book…. this is my project as a whole… ARROWS ARE POINTY.
None of the information is correct, all sample word placement.

comment →Inspiration for the day… ARROWS. I am really considering getting a tattoo that has to do with the Quote above from the poem “The Road Not Taken” by Robert Frost. The quote means a lot to me and I feel arrows pointing in different directions can symbolize choices. Im really excited and totally considering this idea.
